I took off from work a few days before my due date.
It was nice to have time with just our family of 3 before it changes drastically!
Jace spent a lot of time outside in the backyard between us cooking out there or cleaning things up.
Isn't he just adorable?!?! :)
Jace can jump SO high!!! :)
Jace and Daddy playing in the water - throwing his bath letters at daddy!
Here is my 40 week belly! Its big was not as big as Jace was!
The few days approaching my due date I thought I would tackle a couple projects I have wanted to do.
I made a car seat canopy with a peek a boo window.
Then I made Jace's 3rd birthday shirt. This picture is not the complete project.
I had to wash it a few times to get the raw edges to fray completely.
Jace's birthday is going to "The Little Engine that Could" themed.
I had all these neat ideas for the party but time slipped from me with preparing for June Bug.
Since Jace was born I always planned his parties MONTHS in advanced. I did for this one but actually getting things DONE was not well...done :(
The good thing is its just his 3rd birthday - he more than likely won't remember it.
It won't be a complete bust but it won't be as elaborate as I would have liked.
One of my days off I picked Jace up from daycare and we went to the mall to play.
Jace had a blast playing.
He was climbing, jumping, crawling, laughing and running laps!
Jace and I had extra morning cuddles while watching Mickey Mouse.
Jace's cousins, Brayden and Dani, came over to play one day.
While they were over I think Jace was trying to maybe "show off"?
Well he started to peel his border off his walls! Talk about TROUBLE!!
Good thing was still have a big roll left over and can hopefully replace this section.
I have tried almost everything to get June Bug to come. I am TRYING to wait patiently knowing labor will start when God is done making this baby but I am getting anxious about my "deadline".
My doctor will not allow you to go past 41 weeks. I even asked if we could go past by 3 days and I will do NSTs and BPPs to monitor the baby. She would not compromise with me at all.
I am scheduled to check in on Monday June 11th to be induced that evening if baby is not here by then.
This basically puts a damper on my dream of an unmedicated labor. I do not want pitocin in my body every again! I know my body can do this on its own if given the chance. My doctor isn't giving my the option to give it time. I am so frustrated and I admit I bawled most all day when she told me no to going past 41 weeks. I am pretty certain that my babies just bake longer. There is nothing wrong with that. Maybe its genetic? My mom went 2 weeks past due with me.
Anyway - I am looking seriously into the last resort to induce naturally......castor oil.
